Great War Miniatures Crimean War range...

Has anyone painted them up yet, if so how'd it go and finally my usual scrapping around for help here, any advise on Coldstream Guard unifroms for the Crimean Campaign?

Hey,
I painted a 30 man unit of line in forage caps and a 18 man Coldstream Guard unit.ATM I'm working on Highlanders and Grenadier and Scots Guards.They paintup all right.The only issue I have had is on the Gren and Scots Gd.The space in between the musket and the head is totally filled in with pewter and is so thick I couldn't file or cut it out without wrecking the gun and side of the head.The Coldstream and line didn't have this problem so I'm not sure what is going on with the newer castings.
They are good figures but not up to Front Rank standards which is what all my Napoleonic figures are.
I asked about uniforms about a month ago and got a nice link.The thread is in the Other Adventure forum,I think it got bumped back to the secondpage.
edit: no I updated my progress on releases a couple days ago so it's first page
