It’s been a while since I read it but I don’t remember Maiko being kick-ass.

I do like Hiroyuki very much though. Looking forward to his portrayal of Torunaga

Well, the book and the original series are nothing but artistic license, so there's no need to stop now.

The original series was a flop in Japan because audiences there were already quite used to high quality costume drama series that portrayed their actual history, so Shōgun was just trivial nonsense to them.

I'm really hoping we get a good boost of players taking up Test of Honour dut to this.
