Raid on Innsmouth Part 2

As promised here is the second half of the Innsmouth Raid on the fishmen and their malevolent leader.  This part of the game was essentially a dungeon crawl pitting an assortment of pulp heroes (including the resurrected Bucky) and a number of regular troops/police against a variety of nasties.  The good guys had a few tense moments but overall their superior firepower carried the day even though they lost about 2 squads of infantry and one of the heroes - Ohio Smith (a wannabe Indiana Jones) and miraculously Bucky actually survived this game (actually I took pity on Leadfool and let Bucky live this time).  Eventually the heroes converged on the chamber where the big baddie (Squidthulhu) was hiding and a multi-turn melee ensued which ended in Squidthulhu's eventual defeat.  Fun game but the monsters got whacked a little too easily.  I'll make them tougher when we do the next Halloween game - The return to Innsmouth.

We used a highly modded version of Osprey’s The Men Who Would be King.

The rule set is called the men who would be warlord. 

The basic set is the men who would be king, updated to be set in the 30's.  We have played, Second American Civil war, Back of Beyond and similar games. 

Then we added in weird war weapons, superheroes, beasts etc., mostly for Halloween.
