Generic horseholders

I always wanted to do some horse holders for the horse and musekt times.
For dragoons or general evil doers who sneak up th enemy and dismount....

For ECW, TYW, the wars of the sunking .... or the steep hills of Afghanistan....

But painting ll these horses just for one setting was a daunting task.
Then I stumbled over some great horses by Black Hussar Miniatures with just the right poses.

And I thought of doing the horseholders themself in sabbot bases.



In the sabbot holes I can place different miniatures or small trees or stones...

What a nifty idea.
Provided you’re not to worried about the correct horse saddles, then you could even use them for other periods.

Wish I’d thought of that years ago. 👍
