Happy New Year

Back in July I shared pictures of my completed Macedonian Army - the last 6 months has seen a steady progression on my Persian force and now it is of a sufficient size I feel I can share this with you all. At present I can field about 450 of these chaps and there are more waiting in the wings for their bases. Once the foot are complete I will turn my attention to the vast numbers of cavalry required to bring this army up to strength. It will be about 1000 strong (not 2000 as previously quoted)

You’re going to need at least 2000 to take on that horde of Greeks or Macedonians…. (Make that 3000 in the case  of the. Macedonians!)
