That looks great! 8)

I love the use of the Planes not-C-119. I've got one myself for use in modern scenarios. They're big, but not too big, so perfect for the tabletop :) Although I see mine more in (sub)tropical encounters rather than snow-packed ones, that would be an interesting move...
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Great report!
I loved the original movie and used Sally 4th's Whiteout rules to game (something like) it.

Nice report!  Perhaps a snow squall blew in, and prevented the plane from taking off.  Maybe do a Part 2, with the weather clearing at some point during that game...and then you could come up with some way for the brave Canadians to take out the plane...

In any event, well done!

Great battle report! It does happen, on occasion, that scenarios we plan so hard for turn out to be disappointing. I'm hoping the one I'm running this Sunday doesn't fall into that category!!

Cool scenario!

Question: where did you find the Kiowa (Jetranger) helicopter?

Thanks both of you for pointing this out. I've had a couple of disappointing games and when starting out in TT games it can feel like I'm doing something wrong, so it's good to know I should simply put it down to experience and try something else.

The vehicle is a Dinky Sci Fi toy from late seventies. It was designed to coincide with a Gerry Anderson series called The Investigator which never got passed the pilot stage and therefore Dinky were left with a lot of unwanted cars. They re-packaged and sold it during the surge of Sci-Fi films and tv series in the late seventies.
