Snowy Pine Trees Options Thread
« on: December 22, 2023, 11:46:08 AM »
Recently bought "some" snowy pine trees as I could´t resist but was wondering what's considered a fair price for such trees. Good time of the year to find Christmas toy village ones although a bit late by now. So which trees do you use both true model brands or generic ones and what did you roughly pay?

I use Lemax ones bought from garden centres in January

2 for £1 at the moment. I think I got mine in packs either way...cheap!

Not very accurate but how often do I need wintery trees....?

I just picked up a pack of 21 trees for CAD$21 at Michaels a few weeks ago.  I'm sure there are cheaper options but they were convenient, and easy to modify for non-winter conditions.

Here are some that I picked up a few years ago:

Dry brush with green craft paint and voila!

Looking great and interesting options, will take some pictures of mine. They were sold by a local discounter Action, think they are the same of the Lemax ones with the white plastic dome bases. Cleared the local store as they were €1.99 for 10 trees (mixture of sizes) might have bought enough to cover a full table  lol

Action you say? I'll make a trip there first thing wednesday morning then. I've still got to populate my Frostgrave table and these do look like a nice and quick option...  :D
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

They have been unavailable in my local store for weeks but they might still be available in other stores/ countries. As you say quick and easy scenery.
