Build Something Competition 2024: Topic Poll

It's that time again! Time to see what we are going to build for the 2024 Build Something Competition. Vanvlak and I are talking about timing - not sure entirely when we'll start, but this poll will run for two weeks. After that, likely 2-3 before we start (maybe as early as Feb 1st).

No matter which option, it's going to have to be really shoehorned into existing projects I suspect; none really fits within them.

But that won't stop me. let's just hope I won't have to bow out this year...

At the moment I have absolutely no idea what to do for any of the themes.

But I'm sure I'll think of something.

Workplace it is! With the lower participation in the poll from last year to this, I'm going to propose we hold off starting until at least mid Feb. Let people recover a bit more.

Well I voted for speed, but workplace probably works better for what I had in mind.
But I have some other ideas as well now so I have no problem with the postponed start. It gives me time to decide what I won't be able to finish in time what I want to do

Just a note on potential rules for this round: Can we amend using limited 3D printing parts to add acceptability for parts created by the entrant specifically for the contest? (Like, lets get into the 21st century!)  Regards, Rob.
