I just downloaded the rules from Wargames Vault. I really like them and am slotting them into "next year's" project. Excellent job on creating a vibe, Nic! We typically have 6-7 players show up. So, that'd be perfect -- each one controls a hunter and a follower.

I'll start working through your blog and campaign next. I assume that all the scenarios scale up and down compared to the number of hunters?

Normally, I'd apologize for threadomancy on commenting on a thread more than two months old. However, digging up the buried seems very appropriate here...  :D lol

I sent you a direct message Mike, I assume you got it a while back.

Scenarios are easily modified to make them more challenging (if required...  :D )

I did receive it -- thank you! I was just wondering if you had a system or ratio you used to pad out the monsters? For example, if I do go with each player controlling a Hunter and a Follower (6 Hunters and 6 Followers total), what would you add to the "A Discovery of Witches" scenario, for example? Should I add more witches, or other types of monsters? I was thinking some "cultists" (witch's coven or followers). But how many? Should I use the shillings bounty somehow?

Sorry to be a pest with questions, but I am sure you know a lot more about balancing potential scenarios than I do...  :D

Hi Mike. If doubling the hunters, I would suggest adding a couple more witches, and then something else like a barghest and a pack of wolves etc. If you have too many of any particular monster, the activations may get bogged down when you pull a monster token.

Good advice - thanks! So, maybe cultists assisting the witches coven so they're a different type?
