Easymodel had one in their preassembled plastic models one, but it may be OOP right now, so not that easy to find.

Edit: Faller (German importer) don't show that one right now, but the GDR NVA Mi-4 and various Mi-17s seem to still be available:

Cheers Chris, I've  got one, but think it's in either Iraq  or Iranian markings, lovely model, actually.

It's done in 4 liveries, IIRC, including Soviet and Iraqi.  Flying Mule's website says "Restock March 2024"...

At least in 1/72 making a flight stand for a die cast model isn't too onerous

There are times that I regret having gone down the 1/48 route for my aircraft  lol

I wouldn't trust Flying Mule their "restock" schedule never seems to happen.

Not diecast but next best thing.... resin. I have the 1/48 version of the Hip, it's a beautifully made model and rotors aside, it's a four piece kit. Just be aware that if you want to show it in landed mode you'll need to add a little weight to the front half of the fuselage. The model is hollow, so easy to to.

Another option if you want an easy to make Hind is the Revell 1/72 Snaptite Mi-24.

Not one but in fact three new 1/48 Hips. Annetra, Trumpeter and Zvezda.  The Zvezda one is hard to find due to them being a Russian company and the other two are not at all cheap.

Happy with my resin one although I have considered that diecast you have as the Bobmac resin print is an older Hip C. Maybe when I get around to finishing my Nicaraguans.
