Just to add to the chorus, Sunny Skin tone and Deep Prussian Blue are usually too gloopy to use so I end up mixing alternative colours.

Saying that a model shop near me has their Vallejo rack in the window. I've never purchased any from them as I'm sure the sun* beating down on them through the window must have an effect on the quality of the paint. Maybe its a storage issue with some paints.

*Sun = a big ball of fire in the sky which brings heat and happiness. Rarely seen in the UK these days, even less so in Shropshire.
Don't!

There's a thread on TMP with the same complaints.

I've been looking for one of these paint shakers for several years now but I have never found one I can plug into a Swedish socket.

Do you think they would be easy to convert to 230V without me electrocuting myself?

Wow Hammers, thanks for letting me know such a thing exists.  I'm buying one immediately.

I'll point out that they're available in battery-operated versions:

I've seen modellers attach paint pots to orbital sanders with elastic bands, in the UK you can pick an orbital sander up for less than £20.00.

Maybe worth asking if a friend, family or neighbour has one you can borrow to test out.

I have one, thank you, but it seems a bit impractical to me. :)

That would work but I see @hobbylink that it has an external transformer. That should be easy enough to replace with a 230V equivalent. One thing I have against the Robart shaker is that it only takes one pot at a time.

I find adding a chunk of metal sprue helps the manual shaking. I had been told to use small ball bearings, but discovered that they were the perfect shape to clog up the dropper.
