Great looking building! The ground texture and cover is particularly effective for the scale.
Focused on 6mm pike and shot and 28mm Frostgrave

Very nice, well done!

The problem of ground or garden adjacent to a miniature house is often difficult – no  ground at all looks a bit strange, but too large it may be difficult to carry and store. It seems you have done a good and nice compromise.

They look excellent, I like the multi shaded roof on the church. Is your thatch, green stuff or some clay, it doesn't look like skinned teddy bears or you favourite towel but does look very effective. Finally are they minifig Pike and shot, they look very similar to mine that are about 50 years old!!!!
How time doth fly. ;)

Thatch is milliput, textured with a blade.
Figures are all warlord pike and shotte plastics.
'Epic' scale, but hood as 15mm in my eyes
