Core Space, What other figures work with it.

Ok, I got the box for Core Space.

I notice that my small collection of 28mm figures are a short.

I assume they are something like 32mm figures, as such who is making comparable figures?

Note after 20+ years of 15mm, I am kinda lost.

Were you going to make some custom content for the game?

Newer Infinity should work. They are a full head taller than Stargrave figures, much to my annoyance

The Zombicide: Invader figures are quite tall and skinny as well, if you can find them without the game.

Some Reaper are tall, some are more traditional 28s. The newer ones, and especially the Bones USA ones, seem taller. The older Chronoscope metals are more 28mm.

I skipped Core Space for that reason, despite the fact that the figures look really nice.

Hasslefree do real 28mm sci fi, Reaper is up and down and all over the place.

Corespace mini's are actually not that diffferent in height to Stagrave, but the stargrave minis have typically exagerated wargame proportions; oversized heads and hands and quite stocky, where as the Corespace figs are a lot more realistic in their proportions.

Infinty figs have similar realistic proportions but they are often a little bigger.

Star Wars Imperial Assault reminded me of Star Wars Legion, which are definitely on the large side.

Hasslefree has been increasing slightly in size in their most recent stuff. It's still compatible with 28mm, but definitely stretching a bit. It will be interesting to see what their Kickstarter figures look like - when, rather than if - they finally appear.

I have some Wargames Atlantic SturmJager troops, which seem standard 28mm. The one in your photo below seems quite a bit bigger than I was expecting, so I'll keep an eye out for that if I buy any more of their humans.

Anvil Industries Exo-Lords are larger than 28mm (think Primaris sized) and are available as male and female (though armoured).

Regimets sized robot, Exo-Lord, Exo-Lord scale Robot and the Martian Fusileer.

Right now I am using the figs in a separate RPG with the boy and his friends. Though I have played the core game solo a bit, with plans to include the kids as I figure out the rules to teach them.

On the topic of the kids, they want to paint figures. so I figured a selection of figures they were playing with would be a good start.
