I've got the Comet Miniatures kit of this kicking around somewhere.  It's on the (eventual) build list.  Also got a set of blueprints for the boat and some gorgeous CG renderings if you're interested.

It certainly is the prototype of any pulp submarines I can think of. And it's also cool looking. Go build it and show photos!

not an easy project indeed!
Lots of curved shapes, spiky bits, etc.
Quite challenging.

But please, don't start building it unless you finished the graveyard!

first thing, I have only the hull and I am a bit stuck in the concept
and then I have to finish two armoured trains

I've gotten the "teeth" already. And a great set of blueprints. I just need to make up my mind on building the whole sub from scratch (a dream I've had for a while) or making it waterline up for miniature gaming.

@ former user - I think (can't remember where) I've seen where someone used that for a pulpish spaceship. It looked pretty darn cool!!

yep, just seen it the other day
but at a small scale, and combined with battleship parts

I simply cut mine to a waterline model and extended the hull with the lower central part.
That's how far I got

I re-sized this and transferred it to plasticard. Not got very far with it though.

Svennn, I think you just might have given me the option of having both the waterline version and saving the teeth to make the scratch built version too.

Might be a little too small but it's the thought that counts.

I actually only transfered the top half to make a water line model (partly because it was a bugger to cut out from plasticard and I could not face doing it all )

I have done several paper models from The Disney Experience, and they are usually really good.
