At the moment, our small CoC group from the Ingolstadt-Munich area has mainly focussed on the ‘Operation Husky’ / Sicily setting, with the option of extending this to southern Italy.

While my two comrades-in-arms have built up and expanded the Axis forces, I had decided on the US Boys; I had already painted a platoon of US Parachute Infantry, which I had then expanded further and have now added US Armoured.
This allows us to easily depict the battles at Gela, for example.

Beautiful work on those! Sicily and southern Italy are campaigns I find quite interesting. It looks like you’re well equipped to play some games!

Absolutely wonderful. Congratulations on gaming a much neglected theatre of WW2.

Thank you very much, we like to play outside the usual settings  :)

Just a few additions here and there from now on to add some more support for my US Boys from time to time - my next project will be the Fallschirm-Panzerdivision HG.

Some close-up´s.
Particularly like the passengers for the M3A1, two of them are shown taking a little nap  8)

For Chain of Command Support Option I needed an additional Junior Leader for my Armored Infantry and so I quickly painted one; 15mm miniature from Battlefront.

Oj, just stop!  I've been trying hard to resist doing WWII in 15 mm. (my chosen scale of choice) and you are NOT helping!!

Very nice work - far beyond what I'd do I'm sure.  But still damaging my resolve (well, a little, resolve is pretty strong).  Oh, temptation.

Excellent painting. Just yesterday I was telling another poster on the Napoleonic board that until then I had never before seen 15mm figures singly based. And now this.

I look forward to seeing the collection expand.

I have restructured (and rebased some of them) my 15mm US Parachute Infantry a bit among other things and so all my Junior Leaders are based separately now.

In the course of this I painted a few reinforcements and can use them now to field a 3rd squad.
All miniatures are from Battlefront.

Marker for Minefields made from popsicle sticks, the signs itself are just printed and a bit weathered afterwards.
