Frogs of the Fen
« on: June 13, 2024, 11:47:41 AM »
You know you have WAY too many projects when minis you sculpted arrive at your door…and sit for several months before you start to paint them 🤣.  This is a unit of Frogs-at-Arms with a Standard Bearer hero for my Mice-at-Arms miniature game.  There are 25 unique minis in this Frogs of the Fen army expansion.  The army book is done and play tested…just working on the final layout.  The joys of being a 1 man show 🤣.
My award winning miniature games….
Saddle Bum, Mice-Aat-Arms, Mini-Medieval, Shootin Iron, Four Delvers, Zombie RV:

Thanks! 🙂. I feel like the is enough “dark fantasy” out there…we need a little “cute” in our lives.

Honestly…I didn’t know there was such a thing before starting this project.  Guess I’m not as original a thinker as I thought 🤣…frogs just seemed like the obvious first opponent since they are about the same size (in the real world), are vastly different, and would like in places close to each other.

These are unbelievably adorable! Getting big Amphibia vibes from the whole thread, in a good way :-*

The initial frog army doesn’t have any cav units…but like the special Opossum model for the mice, there may be special units in the future…😀
