Have you tried Plastruct? As far as I know, they're available in the Old World.

Please note that the company owning Moduni has recently gone into administration, so until the situation is more clear, I´d be careful ordering from them. If Moduni should go belly-up, too, you might have problems getting a) your stuff or b) your money back due to the peculiarities of German Insolvency

Oh, that's just fucking great. I have a €90 order with them.  :-[
My original beef was their slow and dodgy online shop.
Thanks for the heads up, Chris.

Jesus, I'm beginning to think that Hammers has had a mail-order curse laid on him by a disgruntled Gypsy woman.

You really shouldn't kick them, you know. Just politely refuse to buy their pegs with a smile.

Shit. Wish I had known. Can I keep kicking other old ladies?

By the way, has your Musketeer order come yet? Considering an order there myself, but I don't want to until I know he's up and running at full speed again.

It's a bit unclear. He mailed me about two weeks ago telling me they were in the mail. Same day, or day after my claim with PayPal came through so I got my money back. I emailed Bill again today telling him that if he had indeed sent me the Scots I ordered I will of course make a new payment. No reply yet.

I would be very careful about putting in a new order. Check TMP and the Musketeer forum for consumer stories. See if you can get them from another source. Didn't North Star carry Musketeer for a while? In the future I will get mine through Miniaturicum or Battlefield Berlin (if they can get hold of them). P&P might even be cheaper to Sweden that way but, above all, they both have a much, much better track record when it comes to expediency and reliability.

Now, sorry to have startled you, but the situation, as far as I see is this:

According to the press release, they are continuing to sell and deliver product and allegedly have interested investors lined up, so you might just receive your stuff as ordered (but irritatingly late); this is apparently quite a problem with them, since other folks have reported delivery times of 2 months and more.

However, if you have outstanding orders with the company if it goes belly-up, you do not retain either a claim to your goods or the money. Instead, you have to "stand in line" with the other creditors for a refund, and the larger ones will be serviced first; you may receive your goods, or money, but there´s also the possibility you´ll only get part or none of it refunded, depending on how sincere the administrator and involved parties are.

Thanks for that. EMA sells their goodies in the UK, Jimbibbly gave me the link too. There's some good stuff there.
Don't!

Last bit of hijacking: I managed to cancel my order to Moduin. Phew! Apparently they don't charge until the items are shipped. I still hope they manage to turn the company around. They have a remarkably vast catalogue. Back to topic.

As we've been given permission to go back on topic  ;) If you're after the quick and easy way, how about TableScape? Products 3 and 4.

Thanks for the help chaps. My biggest concern is when it comes to bends in the pipes, hopefully the plumbing supplies will sort that.
Yeah that was Bill Clinton's problem too if I recall!

(sorry since we went down that road I couldn't resist)

Spotted those ones but wasn't keen on the 'mounting'. Had a look at Hirst Arts and they do some decent pipes in their sci-fi range. I'd have to indulge in that casting malarky that comes with it. Some good stuff there though.

There's a bunch of folks out there who sell castings of the Hirst Arts stuff; one of them might have some of the piping available if you don't want to get into the "casting malarkey". Hirst has an active forum, probably fastest to ask over there.

I could sworn ArmorCast did some SF-ish industrial piping, but I can't see it on their website anywhere. All my SF stuff is buried somewhere, but I thought I owned some ArmorCast-made piping. Perhaps I'm just imagining it.  ;)

Thanks for that, I'll check the forum.

I'm scared to visit the Armorcast site, everytime I do the family goes hungry!  ;)

I think you are right Wirelizard, they did have some piping in the catalog at one point. Keep in mind that the original owners sold it all to the current owners and they may not have gotten those bits back in stock yet. Things keep appearing and disappearing from the webpage. Maybe an email to ask if they still have the molds?  ;)
