15mm Fantasy....
« on: 07 July 2024, 08:58:35 AM »
I can't find my old thread on my 15mm fantasy obsession so I have to start a new one.

And I begin again with something that is not really 15mm lol

It is actually a Maxi Mini Giant that I will be using for my Greek Fantasy Army of Men.

This is a great resin mini that stands about 100mm tall so will be imposing on the battlefield.

I 'll go through my photos and add some more of the recent fantasy things I have done.

Going foward I will try and add new painted items on this thread rather than start again lol

Those look great! I’ve been working on 15mm fantasy armies over the past year and your undead are inspiring. I’m looking forward to seeing the Greek army as it develops.

Thank you, the Undead are 3d printed Forrest Dragon I think.  I have seen another 15mm Undead sculpters and they look very cool, so there may be some more units joining the horde.

The Greeks are basically done, they are all at home.  I have a load of Hoplites, some skirmishers and centaurs.  There are a few other troop types I want to add, especially undead Hoplites, as per the Jason and the Arganought film and may be some Cyclops and Greek style minators.  I may also add some Early Acxhamid Persians as allies/mercenaries.

Latest off the painting table, again not 15mm but GW River Trolls that will be used for giants in, well many armies.

Nice models bought built off EvilBay.

Love those trolls.

Thank you, they were fun and surprisingly easy to paint. Mainly with Contrast/Speed paints

Next up......an Orc Troll War Mammoth.

The main model is a 3D printed min i that I saw on EBay and bought(about a year ago) to see how it looked.  And now it's painted I think it looks awesome and I want more lol.

The crew are Demonwolrd minis.

The whole things was paintyed using Contrast/Speed paints.

That titan really looks the part. It doesn't look like a 54mm figure painted in bronze - it looks like a proper statue in that scale, brought to life.
