From printer to battle in three weeks! My Swiss get to see the elephant

So, I went an bought a Bambu Mini1A printer (which is a neat little device, ready to go within minutes of un-boxing) and started trying out my new toy. Before I knew just what I was doing I had downloaded a free STL and printed out over 240 minis that then needed painting!
My first impulse was to put them in a box and stash them with my other hundreds of incomplete projects, but instead I changed my mind and resolved to paint them all within a fortnight. The minis were very basic and that played into my idea to paint them in the manner of toy soldiers. It was a hard grind but I got them all finished on schedule.

Those look rather good painted up in a simple style. Definitely captures the classic toy soldier feel! Well done, too, staying disciplined and painting them all!

Great job - especially in such a restricted time frame.  Of course, now you need to print at least 360 opponents for them - and then the cavalry, artillery, and generals.  Don't worry, though, we'll be happy to wait for it all.  We'll give you until the end of August!

I found an STL for a gun and crew and printed one as a test. It came out a great match for my Swiss and I decided to paint the Neufchatel battalion's gun while the others were printing. So my crazy adventure with printing and painting a Swiss army and getting it into battle in three weeks has come to an end.
