When Nightmares come : Mississipi in the 30's
« on: 17 August 2024, 09:40:41 AM »
Hello all.
I would like to present a small project on When Nightmares come. I decided to adapt the rule to a context around New Orleans in the 30s by using this book (in french, sorry...) :

To start, here are six hunters (two wardens, two weavers and two wrights). The minis are prints of STL files from a KS, Moonlite Bayous.

You can see mores details and Characters sheets on my blog (all in french, sorry again !) : http://hastalafigurinasiempre.blogspot.com/

Great setting for your project. There's just something about New Orleans that makes it perfekt for pulpy mythos settings :)

The minis look great, too. Once again I wish I had room for a printer :D Very characterful bunch. I'll happily follow along for their adventures.

That’s a great premise and set of painted miniatures. Just curious, how many figures are recommended for a group of hunters when playing solo?

That's a wonderfully rich idea for a setting. New Orleans seems perfect for horror and supernatural!

Fantastic idea, I love the way When Nightmare Come fits easily into just about any 20th/21st century setting.

If anyone needs a native New Orleanian to vet plausibility or realism regarding setting, I’m happy to help.  Just try to get the accents right…
