You've done a wonderful job on those figures.  And your setting sounds intriguing...

Lovely work again. And a real mix from the exotic to the ordinary in the shape of Albert. Not that Albert is any way inferior - he looks great in his own way. He’s a simple subject but you’ve done him proud.

That lady in heels is great! She looks like she could be on the dance floor doing a particularly Lindy Hop.
Got to kick at the darkness till it bleeds daylight.

Great paintjobs, Albert looks like Gerald Durrell. (Veronica is in a weid pose thogh, like someone having a toilet break in a place with no toilets)

Obviously, I come to this fairly late, I will say I also come to this impressed. Do you have ideas for terrain yet?

While it's true I can't read French, I won't apologize for writing in English, even poor colonial, you shouldn't for that in French. The cover alone was worth the look.

I'd not been aware of Mr. Durrell, though photos of him later in life suggest Brian Cox a bit more. Not Albert, as such...

As for Veronica, not wei(r)d at all, as part of a dance, but as with photos, frozen in place can seem so.

I am recently moved to Missouri, and bordering Arkansas, always looked Mississippi adjacent from afar.

Not accurate, not entirely false...

I'm really enjoying this thread. The setting is different and rich, and that plays into the interesting miniatures, which are beautifully painted.

And here are three creatures that came directly from the bayou. These three have a story. They’re failed impressions by a friend. I told him not to throw them away, they might be saved. We see the printing errors (some streaks and failures) but with a little conversion and paint, they are usable!
