The Turkish merchant, Mustafa Peepee, has his own small force of armed men to guard his warehouses and caravans. Here we see one detachment clearing the way for supplies...

I have also been playing around with this so called 'dip' method to get stuff painted fast (real life has eaten my hobbytime!) and for two hours work this was the result...

They look great - especially for two hours work. WOW!  :-*

Did u use Army Painter and if so what tone? Did u dip or paint?

I have a truck load of Indian warriors to paint - hopefully with a little whiter clothing.

@Fsultana: I use Army Painter Strong Tone (the middle one) on my Pathans. Works fabulously well over white and off-white Pathan clothing!!! See my NW Frontier thread elsewhere in this Colonial section or see my blog (click on the internet icon under my name in the panel to the left.)

@V: Your Tingtong project is a huge inspiration for me - I intend to set up a similar thing set on the NW Frontier for games at my wargames club.
Cheers
Andy

The "dip" is churning them out quite nicely.

Especially like the gun crew.  :)

V, the paint looks GREAT !

But please, please, carefully bend the barrel of your screw gun to move the muzzle up so the tube itself is straight.  Drives me twitchy to see a drooping gun barrel.  PLEASE - - - - ?

Great paintjob V, must say that bunch of figs do look familiar.....! just goes to show that with the right scheme and technique, different ranges can work well together. Cant wait to see them in action.

It's great to see Tingtong up and going again! I loved the first set of adventures/minis and these ones are lovely too!
