My converted army for Austerlitz
« on: 09 October 2024, 03:54:39 PM »

Since I can't seem to get any Russian chasseurs from Victrix/Brigade Games,
I sat down and converted one.
I think the legs are from a fallen British soldier, the body from an officer
(the hunters didn't have a cross belt, just the waist belt with the ammunition pouch at the front),
the head of an Austrian and green stuff.

For the Russian Grenadiers I used French bodys  in a coat.
I stuck a grenadier's head onto it.
I modified the round knapsacks using Greenstuff.
The result is very close to the originals, right?
Yes, the Russian coats were longer and there were no cords on the shako
(I also left them black)

For the Austrians I use some troops from the Danube campaign.
German troops in helmets and Hungarians with shako, as well as grenadiers in fur hats.

And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

I'm urgently looking for 10 Chasseurs from Brigade Games.
I already searched in the Bazaar, but didn't get an answer
