The bandidos galloped fast to guard the main street. The lawmen sent some deputies round the back while the escort was ambushed not far from the station. Couldn't shoot at them because of the captive, so it had to be hand to hand. A feature of the game was that everyone who initiated hand to hand combat died (and not just because they got shot as they charged in). Amazing how many 1s were rolled by attackers. In the end the lawmen lost only one man and the bandidos withdrew to lick their wounds. The Rev Jonah Smith was hanged.
