Pulp Alley Scenario The Lost Picture of Dorian Gray
« on: 26 October 2024, 08:05:28 PM »
This scenario doesn't continue the events from the story by Oscar Wilde but forwards the story 50 years. It explains where the strange power from the painting came from and who was listening the day Dorian uttered his cursed wish. This tale of twisted knowledge from the odd and unknown takes place in London. Four investigators navigate their shattered view of the universe and come to terms with it but not without permanent mental damage. Enjoy!

Feel free to  play the scenario any way you want. Your terrain may vary.

An epic piece of work. It looks quite daunting for the “good guy” league but ultimately doable if they stick with it.

I think it captures the feeling of the best of the genre very well. Congratulations.

Thanks everyone for the interest.

I have been working on something different for the next scenario. It will have two parts but not the same as this one. The first part will be set in an ancient time playing through a legendary story in an epic. Then the second will be brought forward into the 'pulp' era as archeologists at a dig site outside ancient Uruk. Yes, a Gilgamesh scenario. I know, I know. It might be too mainstream. :) I will post them as two different scenarios in different posts, {title} Part 1 & {title} Part 2. That way it won't take me a month to finish. Until then!.

It's a good story and I'll have to try it sometime.
