here we go, the bendy track sections and tunnel entrance all completed. Its a bit crowded like this but add in the straights and a station and I think I have plenty to cross a wargaming table one corner to the other, which is all I'll need I figure.

You can also see a couple of the shrubbery areas in there. Bit frustrated with those. When they were fully dry they turned out a bit light in shade, so I gave them a bit of darker green around the edges, but that ended up drying very stiff for some reason, which makes then not sit flat or take organic shapes as much as they did before.  o_o  will need to see if I can maybe soak them in ISO or something to soften them maybe.

that looks excellent, is the tunnel/hill a table edge thing?

Can be. I need to finish some larger hills that the tunnel looks reasonable sitting next to, though I will say I've found examples of trains just diving into a tiny bump in the ground in real real life, that doesn't make it look any better on the table. The back of the tunnel piece is very steep so it can but up against other scenery and look reasonable. I'll try to take some pictures with my current tallest hills for demonstration tomorrow.

The railroad pieces and tunnel entrance look great to me! I think alongside the station and your other town and road pieces it will look spectacular. Prime habitat for stompy robots, alien invaders, or a Cold War dust-up!

Thanks!

I think what would really tie it all together is well, things to tie it together. Railway crossings for the roads, railway bridges over the rivers, and a piece to connect the coastline and the rivers together. You know, small stuff.
