(COMMERCIAL) Space Battleship Hachiman from Miniature Martin
« on: November 21, 2024, 12:55:03 PM »
Hello, fellow space battle fans!

I just posted about a new release in my My Minifactory store, and suddenly realised I've never mentioned here my Space Battleship Hachiman series of anime-inspired spaceships for 3D printing.

Shame on me! Let me rectify that now with a link to the collection:

https://www.myminifactory.com/users/martinevans1/collection/space-battleship-hachiman

And pictures of some of the minis printed and painted:

Earthfleet Athena Class Battleship

Earthfleet Amaterasu Class Carrier

Earthfleet Gabriel Class Heavy Cruiser

Hamma'Lon Ishnark Class Battleship

Hamma'Lon Sara'Lex Class Carrier with fighters

I'll happily admit the designs are heavily influenced by those in the classic anime Space Battleship Yamato, but there are also ships inspired by Gundam, Space Pirate Harlock and other shows.

There's currently nine ships available with a tenth coming soon, and I add more ships to the range as inspiration strikes. For now though, you might like to come take a look, because I'm currently participating in the MyMiniFactory Black Friday sale.  8)

I hope you've enjoyed this quick look at the Hachiman ships. Let me know if you'd like to know more about the Hachiman universe (Hachiverse?) and what's coming down the pipe in its future.
Operating from an abandoned US spy base somewhere in the Australian outback, Miniature Martin produces games and scale miniatures set in parallel worlds, past and future. He is NOT trying to take over the Earth. This time.

Interesting mix of ships so far.  Some potential for using them to supplement a Studio Bergstrom fleet.

Probably helpful to tell people that the bases are 45mm so we have some idea how big everything is.

Whups! You are quite right, I should have thought of that. Thank you for mentioning it!  :)
