I'm really looking forward to this build based on nothing more than pretty much everything else you've ever made.

Oooo that's posh.

Kinda fancy and creepy at the same time.

That is an epic start. Very steampunk (magepunk?) even with no paint on it!

Just some photos of the thorax with the legs attached.

Rear

Internal gubbins. I used UV resin to create a real strong bond.

Got some more work done tonight
Built and detailed the front sides and back of the head.  Added some gears to the interior so it is extra chompy.

I will need to prime the interiors of both these pieces before I can put tops and bottoms on then off to the abdomen and exterior detailing.

In the end I decided not to worry about priming the interior.  Finished the roof of both the head and the thorax. Simple coffee stirrers with a skin of self adhesive ducting  tape.  I need to see if I want to tile the tops or if I want to leave it looking like waterproofed fabrics.   There is still some gap filling to do but I will finish that once I have built the interior/exterior of the abdomen.

Front with more light

That looks fantastic. Is there enough space underneath for a mini to stand?
