Thanks everyone for the kind words. My group indulges me and lets me run just about anything I get the desire to do. So, I am very lucky, as well.

The fortified trailers are from Bad Goblin Games. I was just at a convention this weekend, Siege of Augusta, and picked up two more from them. The third trailer is a heavily modified Sarissa MDF one. I highly recommend the Bad Goblin ones. They are priced low, IMO, and are printed with all the cool fortifications and damage on them. All I did was paint them and decorate the interiors…

Sadly, the postage and tax extras makes it very expensive to get stuff from the US to the UK  :(. I did find something similar for a reasonable amount of money so look forward to that. And thanks for the inspiration sir :).

Mike,

Superb AAR and a lovely looking game. Very interested to follow your campaign. I particularly like the rabbit tactics played by Joel, I'm going to steal that cunning plan!

Thanks, guys! Sorry for the late response. I was vacationing in Ecuador for two weeks, so have been away from the forum. I managed to see several sharks while snorkeling in the Galapagos and NOT get eaten...!  lol

That sounds cool. Not been to Ecuador yet, it's on my to do list. Sadly, it's jumped well clear of the pack in terms of crime rates in recent years, although that sort of thing never deters me. How did you find the place?

Four full days in Quito, a week in the Galapagos, and never experienced any crime. I think a lot of it is focused on Guayaquil, which I agree it would be wisest to avoid. I found Ecuador pleasant, the people friendly, Ubers incredibly cheap ($2-$3 for most trips of about 20 minutes), and the sights very nice. Galapagos was off the charts, of course. Amazing experience...!

Got my setup ready for our first game of Zombie RV in awhile. The road trippers from Columbus are nearing the Ohio-Indiana state line, but running low on supplies. They spy a trailer park in Greenville, Ohio, that looks abandoned. Maybe some good scavenge inside the mobile homes?

I have all six of my trailers, including one I finished yesterday, on the table. Mixed in are my shipping container buildings and various other structures. Lots of fun scatter, too! We play on Sunday evening, so hopefully a report will be up by Monday evening...!

Oh, and I am trying something different this time. The spawn points will be mobile...literally! I will have the players roll 1d6 for the trailers on each half of the board to see which trailer or building the zombies spawn from. If it has already been searched, the zombies will pop up in the treeline nearest the structure. That will be for two spawn points. If I need a third, it will be my randomized board edge arrival point for each zombie rolled.

I'll let you guys know how that works out. I think it will be more difficult for the players, having no idea where the zombies are coming from!

They loaded up the trucks and moved to Beverly. Hills that is. Swimming pools. Zombie hordes. A cracking story for our times.

There has been a slow-down of Zombie RV posts recently so it’s good to see you back in the saddle, Mike. Like others have said - that’s an excellent looking board. Is the groundwork a mat? It’s very effective.

Looking forward to action shots of this one.

Doug
