Nice job, Mike.  As always, good looking tables!

Thanks, Jim! ZRV is going to take a rest for awhile as we start doing some Star Wars stuff...  :)

There seems to be a very definite Star Wars vibe happening currently, even I've resurrected some figures (the ones I can still find!) and am redoing some scenery. And still hunting for a bag of figures I've misplaced.

That is such a good board.

Thank you! My friends and I did a road trip to southern Ohio and back today. Passed through a lot of "trailer park territory." They were laughing as I craned my next to check out each trailer park to look for ideas how to make mine more realistic. I decided that I need more beat up, rusted junk cars in my trailer park... :D lol

I really do need to find a recipe for weathering the cheap die cast cars I have a stock of in my terrain and scatter closet...!

Having seen the results that Gunbird got with his rusted up barge (cold war/wet assets topic) I'm tempted to have a go with his superglue and flour recipe - might give just the right look for a rusted up or burnt out junker.

An alternative is acrylic medium or Army Painter Dark Tone and Humbrol weathering powders (other weathering powders are available).

Just be restrained otherwise you end up with the shagpile carpet effect, see the last picture on the post: https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=116563.msg1681680#msg1681680

A more expensive option, UVS.
Flour and superglue does appear to do the job - sometimes the simple answer is the better one.

Late to the party sir, I thought I had replied earlier  :o!

That convention table looks so good  :-* and as you say: a pretty table is vital to draw people in.

As for random spawning points, I've found the CRZ method very useful: mark the centre of the board, roll D10+3, that's the number of inches out from the centre and the point of the die indicates in which direction you spawn the zed.

I even used it in my weird west game for generating baddies. VERY unpredictable even though every vampire group seemed to mysteriously always spawn in nearly the same spot by the undertaker  lol.

Regards,

Legionnaire.

Funny how that happens sometimes. We ran a Sellswords Campaign where all the undead seemed to spawn from the same corner of the table, wherever Henry was sitting. Even when he swapped seats they kept appearing by him! lol

The exact same thing is happening in my Viking Town Raid games using SS&SS. One player always is getting hammered by the "Wandering Monsters" (mounted Saxon hearthguard). He got so many, I formed a horde of them by the end of last game... :D lol
