WIP Deserted Russian Farm 1

Just two shots, before I am off to glosscoat it and leave it to dry for the weekend.





One of 3 identical farms from SHS I picked up at Crisis this year, this one has 2 chips I needed to hide. Based it, added trash from SGMJ (in hindsight I could have added a lot more) and faded the wood and the paintwork. I tried fading the roof a bit more, but I will propably add some water damage after the first coat of gloss.

Ground flock is now done, and added some grey paint to sections of the woodwork.

That is a fantastic looking piece. Great detail...curtain blowing through the window, steel roof, terrain. It will look stunning on a gaming table. Great job. Thanks for sharing!!

Thorbjørn, I believe he made it by applying small patches of some kind of static grass/scatter material which I can't quite identify, and then followed up with Silflor-type material. The only place I know of that sells it is Antenociti's Workshop.

Interesting. I been to Antinociti's many times but I've never picked up that siflor stuff.

Sorry mates, been a tad busy, and the building isn't done yet.

ALl of it is tufts, some large some smalls, the flat patches are actually sold as moss by Mininatur. That is the company where Antinociti's buys his tufts from that you then buy off him. They are the same price, but things from germany are a lot quicker to get for me compared to items from the UK, so I shop at the source.

As soon as my latest order is in I can continue on this one and get it finished.

My reccomendation would be to get a few test packs of the tufts and see if they work for you and you like the way they apply. I think I have 17 different types now, and my latest order should expand that by 7 extra types plus refills om some of my more used tufts.

Be careful though, once you start tufting, there is no way back
