100 Years War (Updated 27/3/25)
« on: 05 February 2025, 10:59:45 PM »
First Box of French 100YW infantry done. 28mm Perrys for Test of Resolve (mainly) but hoping to break out Lion Rampant too! Three days start to finish (not bad). Second picture is how a unit will look for TOR.

If it isn't enjoyable, it isn't gaming!

They are looking great! I love the backdrop too. Three days start to finish is not bad at all, indeed!

This weeks output - 100YW/ Scots Wars

Kit bashed a couple of Salute 2015 figures, (when we had decent giveaway figures)

two different sabots, but give the same (almost) frontage!

Some 100YW troops, The Cavalry (mostly painted by Graham Green), need repairs and rebasing. The Essex & Perrys are by me and the Perrys with Spear arms by Wargames Atlantic showing the two different Sabots to be used for the rules.

Those look excellent! I like the mix of older and newer figures. Nothing beats the Perry sculpts but I think the Essex fellows look pretty good with consistent bases and good painting. And I like the expressions on some of the spearmen- they convey the sense that the soldier is thinking, “you know, I would be quite happy to be somewhere else. Really.”
