These are flat printed on cardboard, you can get textured but I couldn’t see the point of that on an actual gaming table rather than a diorama?

fair enough, was curious as it looks good in the pics, has some real depth

I've tried textured brick work before, texture had nothing to do with the printed pattern though...  lol

More stuff.

The oil drums are Renedra, as are the cargo containers, and the random pallets are on the cargo container sprues.

Foundry for the animals.

Nice job on those.

Interesting "spray-and-pray" method used by the guy by the oil drums.  Holding an AK like that does nothing to improve accuracy, by the way,... 8)

More stuff.

The scorpion is the Silver Bayonet one from North Star.

The giant bugs are the Wargames Atlantic Harvesters but my head couldn’t cope with them having 4 legs, thankfully there were plenty more on the sprues.

Then I used that brick patter cardboard to start making some larger terrain pieces.

The Wargames Atlantic harvesters are a great choice. I do mine in different colors to denote different "types," with different stats. Easy way to up the monster variety with what I already have.

Nice idea, I will use that as I haven’t painted the others yet, thanks!

Thanks Captain!

Turn 6 played today.  Felt like it was going to be a walkover after dealing with 4 out of the 6 badguys in turn 1, but ended up with three of the Squad down as casualties at the end, thankfully none actually dead.

Turns 7 to 9 on the blog.

7 did not trigger a battle
8 was a shootout with the troops of a self-styled Warlord
9 was tooth and claw with three grizzly bears

Update - uploading fixed, pictures now included

Ah thanks for that, I did wonder what was happening but couldn't find a thread explaining it when I looked. I don't seem to have been affected as badly as some were but it was annoying.
Nice to know someone still thinks I'm human!  lol

Another major terrain piece with some smaller scatter on it.

Plus another group of badguys, these are plastic kits, one sprue from each of the Stargrave Scavengers boxes, to represent Nomads.
