Arquebusiers for Pavia
« on: 08 February 2025, 08:20:42 AM »
With enforced time away from painting and rigging model ships, I've been keeping the brushwork in practice with a a bit of figure painting for friends which saw me completing a dozen arquebusiers for a mate's collection that will be part of a couple of games recreating Pavia this year.

These are from the Perry range of plastic offerings and were very enjoyable to paint with loads of detail and expression and gave me time to remember how important it is to keep the painting journal up to date as it was very helpful in reminding me about various paint triads and other terrain basics that I haven't used for the last four years or so.

Nicely done. They look great  8)

I don’t think they’re Perry plastics though, unless the Perrys have launched a plastic landsknecht set without me noticing  o_o

Warlord perchance?

Hi Chaps,
Thank you and yes I think you might be right Warlord rather than Perry but very nice to work on none the less.

Cheers
