New to CLA3 and having a real issue understanding the direct fire, kill, morale sequence. If anyone plays the system could they please help.
The issue I can’t understand is -
Certain weapons fire first, I.e a mg hits a rifle unit, the rules say that any figures “killed” in that situation don’t get to fire. BUT the rules go on to say that you only roll to see if a hit becomes a casualty (killed”) just before doing a morale test at the end of the move! What happens to a unit that has taken hits then subjected to hand to hand fights as nothing has happened in the shooting phase. On the face of it I like the idea of not actually knowing just how many hits convert to kills until the end of the move but the wording and logic is totally confusing me.
Do figures hit just not do anything pending the possibility of becoming killed at the end of the move.
Any guidance must appreciated.
