The Second Songs make their glorious return in 2025 with a new thread dedicated to telling episodes of their history through 5 Leagues From the Borderlands campaigns. We begin, sensibly, at the end. The Company is on its final legs, as survivors from a world-destroying cataclysm they failed to stop go back to where their brotherhood of chivalry started. Will they find answers, or will the last flames of civilization be snuffed out?

In the coming days we'll see camp, and meet the opening cast of the story, before jumping into the action!

Stay tuned!

Sounds fun -- I look forward to the reports...! I keep thinking of starting a Five Leagues solo campaign. Maybe your reports will spur me to finally do it!!  :)

And now, a Dramatis Personae. Who are the heroes of our story? Will they persevere in a doomed world?

Thanks for the compliments, all. I would be lying if I denied that they help spur me to get these written up faster! Here have the first two turns. Turn one was incredibly uneventful. Couldn't have found an adventure if it hit the characters. That's randomization for you. The second day found the men heaps of trouble enough to make up for the quiet first day!

Nice report -- I like the medieval tone of the narrator.  :)

Look forward to the continued adventures of the company...!

Nice report. I have had this tool bookmarked, it might be of good use for you:

I got it into mind while reading through your report.

Take me back! I used homebrewery all the time back in my D&D days. I didn't even think of it in the context of here, and doing larger "leaves" for the log. Thank you for reminding me of that, it may well yet prove of use!
