I just love matakishis cork buildings

I live in denmark and i cant find anywhere to buy these cork tiles

Does anyone know where to buy them???

To be honest I struggled to find cork even in Britain.

Seemingly alot of places don't stock it anymore as it is "Environmentally unfriendly".

I did find it in Wickes, they might do international shipping??

Honestly, while Matakishi makes modelling with cork look wonderful, you can just as easily work with Foam Core.  It is much easier to find and much less expensive. I've managed to duplicate a lot of his buildings with foam core, and am quite happy with the results.
This in no way takes away from the amazing work that he does. I wonder how he manages to fin time to do all that modelling.

Hi, i live in Vejle I've found some in a local flooring shop (Hoka Gulve), not been able to find any in Silvan, but you might be able to find some in XL Byg or even better a specialist flooring shop. Mine cost 11Kr per 300x300mm sheet. unfortunately I just bought the last of his stock for my next project and He'd have o order lots of it in), otherwise I'd ofer to get you some.
Foamboard whilst very nice to work with seems to be impossible to find here in Jutland (though I know two guys that can get it in København, but don't know how much it costs).

Foamboard is readily available in Jutland Dunc. Go to "Architegn" in Århus. They sell it in sheets of 60x60cm.

You can just as easily work with Foam Core.

I have been thinking of going this route for sometime now. I even got a Rabbit Cutter for the foamboard corners (http://store.foamboardsource.com/rabbit-cutter.html) that works perfectly. But... what to do? Paint them up? (lots of paint & painting time) or print out building fronts and walls using this little jewel of a program (http://www.modeltrainsoftware.com/model-builder.html) and burning up a lot of ink.

It's Mark (Cougar) and Mark (Warmaster) I can't remember where they said they get it from, but it's somewhere over there, try asking them through Powerfist.dk

               Sorry, I don't have a digital camera. What I do with the surface though depends on the sort of buildings I am doing. For Third World types, I generally put a light coat of spackle over the surface and then add paint details.
               A rabbit cutter? I always do mine freehand, seems to work okay.

That cork looks to be roughly the same as I have for about half the price!
