[This quar's war] My painted minis (updated 05/07/2025).
« on: March 13, 2025, 11:23:48 PM »
Hello everyone, I want to share my "Quar" collection. I really enjoy this game and to see that in this forum there are people who have the same interest is a joy, where I live right now I don't know anyone who plays, collects or even knows the world of Alwyd so my only "comrade in arms" is my son...

I start leaving four Coftyrans and hope to be able to update in a few days.

Regards!

Lovely stuff! I see a medical Quar, somehow not something I had previously entertained - consider the idea borrowed. Where is the bayonet/knife on the left hip of the green quar from? The only thing I think the sprue is missing are knives/pouches (been borrowing from everywhere possible) - although maybe the new command sprue will solve this.

Keep up the good work,

Andrew

While not intending to start a Quar project I'm quite fascinated by the projects of others.

Looking forward to seeing more of your great work.

Hello! Knives, revolvers, pistols, first aid kits, backpacks, canteens and others are my own creations. It seemed to me that the quar carried little equipment and I decided to create differentiated pieces for each faction.

The field medic was something I wanted to do and I wasted some time designing a “quar logo” for the medical units, then I thought “the only one who will know what it is is me, better a red cross”.

Today I bring some crosses (sorry for the out of focus figures, I'm not very good at taking pictures).

We have a canteen, pistol (both out of focus) first aid kit, knives and some extra backpacks and holsters that I design for my crusaders.

Thanks to all of you for your comments! I'll bring some more miniatures in a few days...

Hello! New pictures of the last one I painted.

Some “coftyran trench raiders”, they are some of the first ones that came out in siocast (I think these models are no longer for sale). Although the miniatures are very good, siocast is a material that I really don't like...

I then painted these two “rhyfles” along with a vehicle of my creation. The green skinned soldier carries a revolver that I created, the gladius sword of the other soldier is also 3D printed but is part of an official pack created by Qualtieri. (The figures in the background are old metal squats).

The vehicle was not originally created with Quar in mind, but then I started to use it as scenery in the games with my son and little by little it started to be part of the Quar world, we don't have any special rules for it, for the moment, but we use it as if it was a rural vehicle to transport vegetables or... moth colonies!

I also painted a few crusaders, I will come back with pictures of them in a few days.

Nice figures.

The buggy reminds me of a Reliant version of the car from Joe 90.
