15mm Star Wars gamers - Separatists droid question
« on: 24 March 2025, 12:00:09 AM »
Any suggestions for B1 and B2 battle droids?

I've had a few Etsy sellers say it's near impossible to print them out at that scale without breaking.

Wakes emporium 6/8mm versions scaled up. They are a bit fragile at their normal size, but at 200-250% they ought to have enough bulk, and I know plenty of people print wakes sculpts at that size and are happy with the looks, though I've never tried it myself.

The board game sector might serve you better here. Star Wars Pandemic has B1 droids that might be a touch large for true 15's but are certainly smaller than 20mm figures, and the Star Wars Clone Wars Risk has B2 droids that might work. I've seen sets of the figures alone sold on ebay so you may be able to pick some up without buying the whole game.

I use the Wakes STLs, printed by a trader, in 10mm and they are just fine
