Rather Splendid uniform of a French
Officer in Tonkin 1885 actually s
French foreign legion officer 1885..
this famous unit often "borrowed"
uniform kit from the French Marine
infantry..as the vessel carrying their
uniforms sunk en route to Tonkin! :o :-* :o :-*

were invaluable to the French In Tonkin 1885
Torpedo was at the front of the boat...used
against all Black Flag boats ,including  Large
