Been awhile since a painted anything Star Wars.

A duo of Gran - distinguished by their three eyes, goat-like snouts, and the small, antenna-like nubs adorning their heads. Crafted by Black Remnant and brought to life through PhalanxPrintingUK.

A pair of outlaws - one human, the other a Rodian - conceived by Black Remnant and brought to life through PhalanxPrintingUK.

Droopy McCool, formerly known as Snit, was a Kitonak male hailing from Kirdo III. As a dedicated member of the Max Rebo Band, he wielded his flute with skill. A Black Remnant creation, brought to life by 3D Argent.

This figure takes inspiration from Lama Su, the male Kaminoan politician who held the position of Prime Minister on his homeworld, Kamino, during the final years of the Galactic Republic until his dismissal in the early Imperial Era. However, I intend to use it as a representation of a generic Kaminoan. The design, created by Black Remnant, has been brought to life through 3D printing by 3D Argent.

This figure originates from The Ignis Quadrant Kickstarter and represents a diplomat or council leader. I chose it because it evokes the Pau'ans from Star Wars: Episode III - even with the extra arms! It was 3D-printed by MicksBits and acquired through Etsy.

My 6th trailer -- this one is a modified Sarissa Precision MDF one. I used corrugated plastic material to cover the incised MDF material, as well as L-shaped styrene to "cap" where each sheet joins.
LOTS more pics and build discussion my Lead Legionaries blog:

"Game over, man...!" I bought the board game Aliens: Another Glorious Day in the Corps last year. Just got around to painting Riplely, Newt, and the Colonial Marines. They were easy to put together, but the detail was a tad muddy -- especially on the Marines.

Newt is probably my favorite figure of the batch -- lots of character! For more pics of the rest, and discussion on how I painted them, check out my Lead Legionaries blog:

I think these were started in February, but I finished them today.

A small horde of plague zombies, something for the DKOK to shoot, eventually.

I spent the past week bringing to life some iconic figures who shaped the Rebel Alliance’s leadership. Featured in this photo are General Jan Dodonna, Mon Mothma, and Princess Leia Organa.

The next figure hails from The Ignis Quadrant Kickstarter, depicting a diplomat or official—though he wouldn’t look out of place attending the wedding scene in episode 3, series 2 of Andor.

Maximilian "Max" Rebo, a male Ortolan from Orto, was a celebrated Jizz-wailer musician and the leader of the Max Rebo Band. Renowned for his mastery of the red ball jett organ, he played the instrument using his feet.

finally, we have a pair of ne’er-do-wells - a human and a Chagrian.

"Toss A Coin To Your Witcher".
Geralt of Rivia, as portrayed by Henry Cavill in The Witcher TV series, brought to life in this Pop Minis design. Expertly printed by FuturForgeOnline and acquired through Etsy. A fitting tribute to the White Wolf himself!

Excellent painting, I feel like a slacker!

April was slow for me, but I did mss add manage to finish some more post-apocalyptic scatter.

The last week has been a flurry of activity for me, finishing up this grand old Customs House from Miniature Building Authority. I have this weird little trait where I want to finish whatever I bought from a vendor before I see him again. It's not like they're going to say, "I'm sorry, son, but you didn't paint that last thing I sold you. So, no terrain for you!"  :D lol

Well, Kirk from MBA is in town this week. So, I wanted to get this done. It was more than half off when I bought it because it didn't have its roof with it. So, I scratch-built a roof for it. I also jazzed up the interior with oriental rugs and even a second floor made of MDF and bass and balsa wood.

For LOTS more pictures of this grand old colonial lady, check out my blog post here:

Whew, Mike, I'm glad you're marked safe from saying to yourself, "I shouldn't buy another one, I haven't finished the last one yet."
=^,^=
