A cross for my graveyard

I can't for the life of me remember who I bought this from. I thought Fenris Games but it is not in their collection. Maybe OOP? It comes with a base, but I left that off for a smaller one of 2 MDF bases stacked, sanded and gritted. A quick paintjob and some Tufts.

 Meant for Silver Bayonet, but works for many things, Pulp included. Makes a great Plot Point, and will look great in my graveyard.

I've checked some more online, Ainsty was one I used to buy a lot for my graveyard from back then as well, but also no luck.

Fortunately, you can get them from lot's of places these days, including 3D printed.

I guess so? I did indeed leave off the base, and I assume RC picked up the moulds then? I did grab it from the box that has the Ainsty Mausoleum and some of their graves, so it would make sense.

For a more widely available small Celtic cross, there's quite a nice one in the Renedra graveyard plastic sprue. https://www.renedra.co.uk/product/gravestones-ravens/

I had bookmarked your Blogpost ages ago, in my Inspiration folder. I should have (more than one) of those sprues around here, I'll give them a go too.

Ah, so it was the Ainsty one. The one you painted also seems to be a much better cast than mine. I'll use the base for something else, maybe a sacrifice or a different icon.

Nicely painted but the cross itself gets the celtic knot work completely wrong.  George Bain would be quite upset.  if we can get pedantic about lace shape and button colours, why do we so often excuse bad celtic knot work?
