Battle of Mount Badon

Last weekend, we ran the Battle of Mount Badon (according to Bernard Cornwell) at the Partizan show in Newark. We used Midgard Heroic Battles and larger than usual units, allowing us to crack through the action and complete the game by 3pm with a very narrow victory to the Britons (though with the loss of Arthur, Derfel, Sagramor and Tewdric). 

I did all the terrain but forces were drawn from six of our collections to get around a thousand minis on the table.

Many thanks! Quite a few of the shots were taken before the show started and you could get round the table more easily, but it’s a real art to squeeze the scale of the game in.
