3D Printable AT-MP Walker

Hello there!
I'm a big Star Wars fan and Star Wars Legion amazed me when it came out. A lot of amazing creators started making more and more minis for playing, painting or simply display, but my main problem is that Star Wars Vehicles are fairly big (a cool AT-ST one for example). After having a resin printed AT-ST fall from a shelf and explode against the floor, I decided to search for smaller-but-still-cool walkers for my Imperial Forces. I just wanted to play some skirmish with vehicles involved, man.

So I researched a bit and found the AT-MP walker. It's an All Terrain - Missile Platform vehicle from SW: The Force Unleashed II (it also appeared in some strategy games), but there wasn't any cool model to print. And so I decided to make it myself and, as it actually came out pretty cool, I decided to put it on the internet so anyone who is interested can buy it.

As I mentioned in another post, I decided to put this on sale as I found that there is no other option on the internet to have this model 3D printed, and I think it came out good enough to sell it. Maybe some of you find it cool and want one or several AT-MPs too.

That’s very cool - not something I’d seen/heard of but one of the things I like about SW is the sheer size of the setting and peoples different takes on it. Will this print OK in 15mm/1:100? (can’t think why not but might as well ask an expert). I went for 15mm as I can get an AT-AT or two onto the table!

Going to add it to my want list for my buddy with a printer to make for me.

Star Wars in 15mm must be a blast! I'd love to see a table with a pair of AT-AT and several AT-ST storming the rebel base on Hoth.

The AT-MP should print well in 15mm, although some details could loose some depth or definition due to the scale reduction. You would need to use the Unsupported pieces and do the supports for that scale, I don't think the existing ones on the Supported pieces would work at 15mm.

If you end up having it printed by your friend, please, pst some images here, I'd love to see it!  And make sure to tell me if you need any help with the model, scaling or whatever

I'm glad you like it! The model is prepared for resin printing, altough it could be printed in FDM because of the blocky shapes and details. There can be some pieces that can require some more work because they are more intrincate, but It can be done. Make sure to use thinner layers so that you can preserve as much detail as possible!

Thanks! I used some concepts from the original models for the The Force Unleashed II videogame as reference, but also adapted a lot of pieces, proportions and so so it would look good next to infantry models and other existing vehicles for printing. I just wanted to avoud long, slender resin legs that can break really easy

got you - thanks for the info, I have both types of printer at work so maybe I'll do the smaller more intricate bits in resin.
