Where did the miniatures come from?
Was Crockett THE Davy Crockett of Disney and Alamo fame as I've never heard of this unit and they would make a very nice addition to my rebel army.

Different Crockett, Davy wasn't born until a few years after the peace treaty of 1783.  I think they were related though, not certain on that front.

It's Colonel Joseph Crockett, who was a cousin of Davy Crockett's father.

The figures are a mix of Kings Mt Continentals and Over Mt Men.
Crockett's men were tasked with guarding the VA frontier from Indian attacks.
