UPDATE. 6mm terrain board -w- roads, trails, canals, etc
« on: 07 July 2025, 01:32:20 AM »
The UFO (tv show) test game came out so well, I rebuilt an old 2×2 pink foam board for it.   The canals and sinkhole will get "water", and a small section on right will be a part of a lake.  The left side will be river front (the Indian River).

The green fiber stuff is just laid on, until I flock on suitable brush and foliage, and a lot of the dry patches will get a flocking

I'll add more trees, gotta make them.

Decided against bridges, so the canals will have culverts when they cross roads.

The Gang loved it at the Panthers tailgate test run, so this will be a handy travel piece.

Glad I did this in 6mm (my "real" UFO stuff is in 28mm), as I figured almost everything is useful for my 6mm kaiju gaming anyway.

There is unrest in the forest, there is trouble with the trees....

That’s looking excellent - I do appreciate 6mm and the way it can set a scene in such a small space. Looking forwards to seeing this develop.

Looking good. I loved that series, used to have the interceptor as a kid, it was metallic green I seem to remember!
