Another "Who makes" question. Inter-war British motorbikes?

This is almost certainly a hopeless cause but has anyone encountered any British pre-war motorbike models (28mm). I mean classics like this:

Now you're really out of luck.  :(

You can't even get motorcycles for the BEF... having said that you couldn't get BEF infantry until recently. You could try a mail to BEF Miniatures and see what their plans are regarding this, but I wouldn't raise my hopes.

If you're really interested in interwar Britain, you might try the guys at Gentleman's Wargames Parlour http://gwargamesp.18.forumer.com/index.php?showforum=4

The forum is VBCW orientated, but they'd be happy to point you in the right direction for interwar stuff generally.  :)

Foundry have a dispatch rider in their Dads' Army collection.
'So do all who see such times. But that is not for us to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that we are given.'

I've been a member of GWP for a while - mainly lurking. Maybe I will ask the question over there although I'm not strictly intending to do VBCW - more a sort of pulp skirmish. Kind of Agatha Christie meets Bulldog Drummond with the IRA and central casting country characters thrown in.

Must have a look at that Foundry Despatch rider but I'm guessing he's not available on his own.

Come on, guys, post on TMP that you want Bob to sculpt this! (if possible with two "neutral" heads).

His interest in that motorcycle is encouraging.  If you ask me, he can't have his police force miniatures without a police Harley.

Wow, you're right, not cheap.  But darn nice.  Some of them look pre-WWII, although not quite WWI.

Rudi is right. Post or send e-mails to Bob trying to persuade him to sculpt some motorcycles. It is difficult task, but who knows. Maybe with some pressure, Bob will be persuaded!

Sorry, but the sidecar is on the wrong side for us Brits...
They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....
