Police vehicle
« on: 30 December 2009, 01:49:44 PM »

My Christmas present from Phil! The vehicle is by Ironclad, the Police commander is the Partizan 'freebie' sculpted by my son, Matthew. Phil painted the vehicle and its commander, of course. It will see service in 2010 in our Pulp Sherlock Holmes games.

I also missed that Partizan - shame as that looks a very nice and useful figure.

The blue lamp is an inspired addition  8)  lol

It's the sort of Christmas present I'd love to receive and to get it built and painted so quickly is very impressive.

A female cop with police dog?

I don't think they had female Police officers back then, but of course it is VSF (or at least Gothic Horror which is near enough), so if I can have female Torchwood agents why not?  :)

I'd love to see a gatling-armed Police boat  ;D

I would think the Met would probably have lead the way, and they had their first WPCs during the Great War. So VSF only misses the boat by a dozen years and a bit. Close enough, yes?

I am trying to find a suitable lady to convert for WPC -yes I know they started by WW1- but VSF does permit it. The closest figure I found so far is the Copplestone female archaeologist the one holding her hat. But he dress is quite short for the period and I do not like (and cannot) convert her with green stuff or so.

What about the Artizan female military driver, based presumably on Honeysuckle Weeks' character in Foyle's War?

I have some nice armed civilian types for my Torchwood team, but none that look suitable for uniformed WPCs without extensive conversion  :?

I don't know if there are any more suitable civilian figures in the various WW1 etc ranges that could be converted.

Possibly you may need to find a suitable top half and another one with a plain, long dress and then do a "body swap".

Unless one of the many clever people here know better, of course  ;)
