2010 New Project
« on: 31 December 2009, 12:06:27 AM »
Hello All,

New here! Over the last few months been looking at starting new project for 2010 and have always wanted to get involved in the VSF era and recently the VBCW era so these will be my new projects for the next year.

Happy New Year and Happy Gaming

Richard
I'm going to need a SWAT team ready to mobilise, street level maps covering all of Florida, a pot of coffee, twelve Jammie Dodgers and a Fez!

How popular is the VBCW game?  I think it would be quite fun since it is a fantasy historical period so you can do some really fun things! :D

Try the 'Gentlemens Wargames Parlour' for the best source of info.  Much of the background has been (and still is being) developed by forum members.  Contributors include the 3 originators of the 'period'.

Not for power gamers, but lots of scope for fun (or silly) units.  :D

VBCW seems to have developed a life of its own - the charm, for many, is the lack of rigid boundaries - the sourcebooks are a guide, not a codex.  Gamers on both sides of the pond are now developing their own bits of fluff to explain the background of their bizarre units - the emphasis is upon homemade armoured vehicles, but there is no reason why you can't go crazy (like I have) - its up to you!
