I very like that ghoul sculpt and your painting too. It is atmospheric, the colours soft and the contrasts muted. Realistic. Just good.

Yeah and not too much blood

After looking over the free PDF info for Uncle Mike's "Strange Aeons", I finally took the plunge and ordered both the main rules and 1st expansion.

Two things made me feel good about the purchase.

1st, I could clearly see the loving care and attention to design and detail that had been put into it's design from it's binding and artwork to the thought that had obviosly been put into the lurker character design.  The "Mad Scientist Lurker" ahla Herbert West and the "Hybrid Deep Ones" pushed me over the edge.

2nd It is has long been apparent Uncle Mike is a Lovecraft affectionotto, there are some great miniature Weird WW2 and pulp rule sets but none which have been solely designed with Lovecraft in mind, especially with sanity inducing effects and built in character advancement.

So it is I await their arrival anxiously.... awaiting that strange a terrible box to appear on my doorstep containing those unknown terrors.
